As far as I know she has never kept a secret from her mother. There really hasn't been a reason to as her mother is generally supportive of whatever Abby decides. As far as I know she has never kept secrets from me either.
The only thing that came close was when Abby told me she didn't believe in God and asked me for help in the matter and how to approach her mother with that fact. (In case anyone was wondering the mother didn't like that she wasn't a christian, but said she was supportive of whatever Abby decided to do.)
Abby's mother would be fine with her having a boyfriend anyway. Provided that the boy is near her age of course. The thing is Abby can't stand any male below the age of about 16.
