We haven't asked,

A. What is the penalty for not reporting what you knew?

B. What is the penalty for murder, not premeditated?

If A is larger than B (and I would be pretty sure it is) then it's perfectly rational to go and kill them both and let God sort it out.





But that in turn, of course, takes the issue back to what kind of psychopaths give such low penalties for murder and instead penalize Love as if it were murder? Though it certainly exonerates you.
