Facebook is a dangerous place. When people ask to be a friend the normal tendency is to allow it to happen.

And that is not the pedo already used to be paranoid. Almost everyone I have ever known about, either in rl or by reading what they've written, and also every study ever performed about this (Notice that Facebook specifically would not release data on this, so the studies are conducted by good old asking and answering rather than data analysis) points out that a large majority of people don't friend people they don't know, though most of them would friend someone with a "cold trail" relationship. So no, Mr Scareshock is wrong about the normal tendency.

In fact, the definition of "sexual predator" is becoming increasingly broad, to the point that people like Johnny believe they will be considered one simply for reading words on an online page.

It is already that way in the UK and Spain; and though so far not even the rest of the Anglosphere is following, I am sure they will. Or maybe not: Facebook is already "too big to fail" in the USA, and those that would want to dethrone it would do so in order to take its place, not to destroy the socnet industry.

I don't even think Anakin Skywalker went as far down into the abyss of the dark side as some vile adult who becomes aroused by the natural beauty of an underager!

I had always thought that was the whole point of the padawans!
