Hi Baldur,

I know you all here despise Islam. And I can't change that. But what I find to be most astonishing is that you all seem to be happy to replace the void left after Islam has been eradicated with status quo Western culture, which you consider "at least better". I can guarantee you almost 100% that the kind of new culture that they would adopt will NOT be that by which GC idealises. FAR from it. It will definately be a near copy of the status quo that is in the U.K and U.S. I just don't understand why most GCers think it's so important to go to all the trouble to "improve" the Middle East by eradicating Islam, only to have it be replaced and "modernized" to emulate mainstream Anglo-American fascism. I know, I know what to expect, everyone will reply to me with the predictable Western political catch cries "Women's rights!", "What about the children!", "What about the lesbians!" "Gay rights!" "STOP!" and so on...right? (with of course the only exception being without the "shoot the paedophiles!" one). lol

The important point is that one culture being replaced by a new introduced one is not usually bought about by "better" thinking. History has proven this. It is usually bought about by whatever ideas the vast majority of masses from the introduced culture so happens to follow. Anything from the West that ever will influence/transform Muslim countries will ONLY be what is mainstream and what the media represents or encourages etc. It's very important to realise that this "improvement" you want in the Middle East will be a complete and utter disaster in terms of GL specific matters. If most of you see a whole emerging plethora of AOC laws cropping up in every single Middle Eastern country after the American way has finally won over them, then you can thank your "enlightened, modern Western civilization" for bringing them that.

Goethe
