I know that the media exaggertes things a bit, but is anybody suggesting that the problem of fundamentalist Islamic terrorism is a completely fabricated one? If not, then I for one am appaled that some individuals don't think that getting rid of this problem is something of high importance--according to news reports, these people kill innocent civilians every day.


Now, don't get me wrong, I do not for one second believe that the government is only there for the purpose of eradicating this supposed threat--wars are usually fueled by complicated politics, and it appears to me the oil money is a huge incentive in this case. Also, I am aware that we have a huge presence in other countries, and I believe this to be a direct violation of sovereignty in some cases. But again, if, hypothetically, the government is ONLY there to combat and eradicate terrorism, where is the problem? :-/
