Most sad indeed...

It's a real shame that this has happened. The PNVD in many ways was something of a light, and was a big step forwards.

Sadly, due to the bigotry of our times, it is very difficult to get the signatures. This is not an indication of a lack of support, from either peds or the general public, but a sign of the visciousness of the prejudice against us.

Whilst they cahanged the rules to only giving intials, last name & area, it is reasonable to assume that these facts would have been thoroughly checked out by the authorities to confirm that these people did exist, and live where they said they did. In that case, those people who signed would have wound up being identified anyway.

That's what probably put people off...

As for your reasons for not signing, Sancho - I fully understand. You have other responsibilities to care for, and it's better that you put those first, imo.
