Are they really?

For starters, none of them could truly and accurately be called ugly.
Beauty queens they may not be, but they are nowhere near being ugly; they appear to be normal girls.
They are, in fact, close to what you would find in any normal environment.

Next, a true girl lover loves girls not because they are beauty queens or have movie star looks but because they are girls. Each of those fits the definition of a girl.

We do NOT want to skim the cream, and consign the rest of girlhood to a lifetime of loneliness due to their inability to measure up to some arbitrary standard of pulchritude. Were we to do that, we would lower ourselves to the level of those who try to keep us apart.

A true child lover enjoys the beauty of the soul and knows that it all begins there. I am not denigrating attractiveness by any means, but perhaps the moderators who chose those pictures were sending a message to GC visitors that the majority of us look beyond the surface?
