Ah, perhaps we're on the same wavelength, then. I don't know when the last time you had contact with him was (I believe you're on fairly friendly terms with him, no?), but he seemed very depressed when he last posted here. It really saddens me to think about someone I have such great respect for being in that kind of state (in addition to being disappointed in general for some time now that he's left activism--though I believe he may sneer nowadays at the thought of his valuable contributions being called activism).

I don't know how often he still reads GirlChat or how much about his personal situation he would want to be revealed, anyway (probably not much). I suppose the fact that another one of his admirers wishes him well might eventually reach him anyway, for what it's worth. But I actually had one thing I wanted to ask him about privately. I don't know how he or you would feel about sharing his e-mail contact, and I don't know how well you trust me (it's been ages since I've posted here, although there are people who may vouch for me). But if you don't want to share his e-mail address here, I can perhaps explain to you via e-mail why it is I want to get in touch with him.
