Have to confess I didn't know jurors have the right to vote 'not guilty' if they think the 'offense' in question shouldn't be illegal. I'll keep that in mind if I'm ever called to jury duty... ;-)

If I were serving on a jury and they refused to show me the evidence (i.e. the pictures or video), I would simply vote 'not guilty' and keep it up until they showed me the evidence. How can you be convinced 'beyond a reasonable doubt' that a person is guilty (or not) if they won't show you the evidence? But you're right, many people are too fucking lazy or brain dead to do that.
