Very good effort there, Trillion. I grew quite fond of fiesty little Ella, especially since she is named after perhaps the greatest AAM (Adult Attracted Minor for the newbies) activist we ever had on GC in the past. And I thought it was very noble of her to want to work on the rocks in place of her grandfather. I would certainly like to see what fate has in store for Ella and her grandfather next, so please continue with the writing if you are so inclined.

As for others not responding and giving you feedback...the same thing happens whenever I post about a new Solar Man chapter or a new poem. I get few responses. It happens. Do not take it personally. That doesn't mean people didn't like it. Sadly, unless you write something like Infinity's short story "Amanda" you are not going to get that many responses from people here. If your story is "merely" inspiring and compelling rather than outright titillating, less people are concerned with it. I remember how much "Hero Imperfect" took a back seat in popularity to "Amanda" back when the story drive page first went up. What you have to focus on is writing for the small number of people who will appreciate what you wrote, and if you manage to touch the heart of and inspire just a few people, or even just one, it's more than worth all the effort and time you put into it. Would you believe that not a single one of the few other hebephiles who post on GC ever bothered to read my Solar Man chapters? That certainly puzzled and annoyed me, but I continue to write them for the few members of this community who do appreciate them. So keep on writing, pal!
