One of the inconvenient truths about girls is that they generally first crush on men before any peer-group boy catches their eye. And those 11 and 12 year olds who are interested in boys are crushing on the 17 and 18 year olds.

Ain't that the truth! When I was a kid, I had crushes on several adult women, or girls in their upper teens. I watched a lot of Star Trek, and a number of the women Kirk got involved with caught my attention, too! It wasn't quite the same thing as what I experienced after hitting puberty, but I definitely had crushes! Who hasn't had a crush on a schoolteacher? Oh, and also, on the science show 3-2-1 Contact, I really liked the two female hosts, especially Trini. I guess you could say that all my life I've been attracted to pretty females in general, whether women or girls. In a word, I'm "heterosexual." ;-)
