While it's a bit encouraging that she doesn't promote hatred of MAA's, I would like to know how she feels about the majority of us who are pro-choice. It seems that her insistence on pandering to the popular viewpoint about children and the need to "protect" them rather than empower them causes her to fall short of being a true positive voice for us. I would never drop my pro-choice stance just to make society feel more comfortable with me (nor do I think it's necessary based on my personal experience), and I will continue to fight for the rights of children as well as MAA's. Though Goode's message against hating MAA's is good, I still don't believe that the anti attitude towards youth sexuality, and the degree that she pushes it in her book, is going to do much to prevent hatred of us. I have battled with those like her on this board before and I can tell you that anyone who does not consider our views and challenge existing attitudes towards youth sexuality are NOT true friends of ours.
