And those 11 and 12 year olds who are interested in boys are crushing on the 17 and 18 year olds

Some of them actually crush on older males. Many a girls first crush is a cute school teacher or other adult male that she enjoys being around.

BTW, very nice GM Guardian. I know the feeling in a way...
