Point taken. However, I do not expect the description to be totally offbase just because it was written by someone else. I will reserve any further judgement until some people here (including you) have read the book and can give their commentary here on it, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the fact that Sarah Goode is a nice person and knows how to talk to people who she is seeking information from has fooled some people here into thinking that she actually respects the views and lives of that community.

I admit that I had no contact with this woman, so I was unable to build up any type of attitude towards her character. But it seems that based on your contact with her, Minstrel, she impressed you as being neutral about this subject and willing to give this community a fair shake. Are you sure she wasn't just acting polite to cover up her actual agenda for writing the book and her actual attitude towards people like us? After all, it's customery for people seeking information to be polite and to seem as fair-minded as possible to those whom they are seeking the information from, so they wouldn't smell a rat and hesitate to participate. I hope I am wrong, and if I turn out to be incorrect, I will publicly apologize for jumping the gun. I await your reading of the book and your commentary/review of it. As I said, I will reserve further judgement of this writer and the book until you do, because what you said may indeed be correct.
