Yes, you're right. It is pretty scary that they can do that to you without you actually committing a crime. If you didn't do anything which is considered illegal, then you really didn't have to deni anything about being a pedophile, just make sure you tell them that you are not a child molester and everything will probably be just fine. At least, that was the case for me anyway, but maybe you thought differently then I did. As for being "diagnosed" with bi-polar, I think that the whole MD community is just tying to find new ways to "diagnose" people, take for example, ADD or ADHD - There has been alot of cases out there with children being "diagnosed" in the 80's with so-called ADD and then being evaluated today and then "re- diagnosed" with not ever being ADD or ADHD. Sugar has been one of the main reasons that ether children and adults have been misdiagnosed as bi-polar. I was "diagnosed" with bi-polar when I was a teen, but now, after doing a TON of research, I do not think that I am.

As for you're family. Just give them time, it's nice that you're mom has called to see if you're ok.
