The Anti's lie and quote out of context.

They're currently logging everything you say Diss, in order to alter and pervert it. Either you can cease posting altogether; and by extension the rest of us too, or we can recognize that they will lie about us regardless of what we do.

Who is this site for? Is it for us, or for them.

While I don't advocate GC becoming more like BoyChat in all regards. I think that they do a better job of maintaining a site which serves its community first and foremost.

I think that they prove that serving and amusing themselves isn't antithetical with outreach. Those Nons who want to learn about BL must understand that they're asking questions at a BLer house-party; and if the decorations and entertainment aren't entirely to the taste of the Nons, that's because they're by BLers for BLers.

I believe that those who are truly curious and are educable are capable of understanding context.

I also believe that no matter how much we self-censor, we will always be lied about by the Antis; and that screencaps and quotes from GC will be found woven illegitimately into their lies.

I just think we need to better ask who we serve here at GC, and how much Modly intervention is sufficient? I can't say I disagree with most of the GC rules. There are many things which categorically do not belong at GirlChat. But in a few rare instances the spirit of the application of our rules seem to be in line with what the Antis want; which is to silence our distinctive GLer voices.
