Not one work of Rind, nor any other work has strictly "disproven" the following:

"The act of sex with a child could pemenantley psychologically damage a child and therefore it cannot be allowed in any circimstaces to have sex with children weather harm is caused or not"

There were a number of people in the Rind sample who suffered from long-term maladjustment, and this could have been in whole or in part because of the sex, the way it was carried out and/or secondary victimisation. What Rind's sample virtually disproves is the view that adult-child sex relationships are intrinsically harmful. It showed that there were a diversity of outcomes.
