Not a stretch really...

For the authorities to take over a site and put a "investigating for child exploitation" on the website "door" is not that stretched...I've seen it happen on more than one occasion, and it hasn't been that long ago another site was brought down for that excuse, there was nothing illegal about the site, all of them just re-posts of legal girl modeling sites, and it even had candid pics..both pro and amateur but nothing illegal about it, but it did not stop the authorities to take it over and "investigate" it! So yea, it could happen.

By the way I remember the early days of GC, and your right, it has become very different from my first days here, and even from when I was a moderator.
