Derisive laughter aside, Psychiatry is a profession. They do have standards, they do hold people to them. You may disagree with some of them, or some conclusions they've made, or thought many to abuse their positions or be wrong on some issues, but that does not contradict their being professional.

If you are going to make war on an organization then please do so, but make sure to call them the right adjectives or nonadjectives.
