Lack of affection can cause psychological damage in a variety of ways, but sexual activities aren't necessary in order to allay these problems. Unless you equate 'sex' with 'touching', affection is not the issue here. I agree that forcing people to abstain from sexual activity with others is immoral, but don't think it constitutes sexual abuse. To me, abuse means misuse, and misuse means using someone in an 'improper' way. Improper usually meaning 'damaging.' I don't think neglecting or restricting count as using someone, therefore it can't be misuse. So I'm making a semantic argument.
