I won't belabor the point much longer but I think we may be dealing with a case of "Apples and Oranges.
You say: The problem with pics is that the girls are not there. Their images are there, but not the girls themselves.
I can relate to what you are saying, but to me the fact that the girl is not there doesn't diminish the beauty of the image.
Example: I am a cloud lover. I take great pleasure in viewing photographs of various cloud formations, the captured shapes and the various depths of color, the golden columns of sunlight at sunset which pierce through red clouds many layered deep which seem to bubble and roll on and on, one could image them extending out into infinity. This beauty is not diminished, in my opinion, because it has been captured in the unchanging moment in a photograph.
Of course this kind of experience of cloud beauty is different than that which one can experience lying on ones back gazing up into the ever changing panorama of shapes changing form like old sky gods ( are they watching us as well?) and all the subtle nuances of lighting and shades of color blown by breezes so high above us they seem to move in slow motion. And there are the dark storm clouds boiling with lightning and thunder over there, over the distant mountain tops. We are in the actuality of this sky/cloud beauty we are alive and are part of it. Freeze frame and we have the image of this beauty captured forever.
There was once a Philosopher or artist, James was his last name I believe, who felt that by viewing an image deeply enough, it's unchanging nature freed us from time in a way which gave us a glimpse and an experience of the eternal.
I think there are few among us who wouldn't agree that a beautiful lg is one of God (or natures) most wonderous creations. And I believe this holds true whether it is in the captured beauty of a photo or the actuality of the living and breathing lg we may hold in our arms.
Beauty may come to us in many ways my friend, all we need do is seek it out.
In kind regards
Whisper
