All content at the time was perfectly legal anywhere in the Western world, but this did not prevent a service provider from terminating our service. There is a pervasive atmosphere of censorship in the Western world and the fact that we have the law on our side does little good when it comes to actually getting things up and running. In fact, it is quite likely that that service provider broke the law by disconnecting us, but where can we find the prosecutor who is willing to prosecute them rather than us, despite the fact that we have not broken the law?
The law is irrelevant here, because our enemies do not care about the law. They are terrorists and extortionists, and are protected by friends in government. In order to survive, we must go beyond the letter of the law, and even well beyond the spirit of the law.
As it happens, I will not condemn child model pictures, nor softcore child pornography, nor even non-abusive hardcore child pornography. I will not even condemn the production of such things in places and times where they will not put the children involved in harm's way, and I certainly condemn laws that outlaw mere possession.
But all that is irrelevant to this discussion. If we wish to survive, we must go far beyond what the law requires, because we live in societies which have no respect for the law, nor for human rights, nor anything good. We live amongst those who despise love itself. What hope for justice can we have amongst such?
