Good idea...

...for a lot of reasons.

First, if you do not tell her, you will always think about it and wonder and ponder how she would react.

Second, it is good to let her know for sure how you felt about her. She may think back and wonder about the role of "you" in her earlier life. It cannot hurt to let her know how special she was to you, how much you loved spending time with her, etc.

Third, one great potential for Girl Lover activism is to tell the girls we loved later in their life just how much they meant to us. If we have done right by them, and they remember how special your time together with them really was, they are likely to be more open to "relationships" between their own children and other Child Lovers.

I am sure there are many other good reasons as well.

Of course, be sensible about it. It is probably not a good idea to come right out and tell her that you were once madly in love with her, that you wish you could have married her when she was eight, etc.
