When does allowing parents to decide how to parent their children supersede child liberation?

In case you're wondering, your question is quite definitionally... completely nonsensical. Literally. Serious, dude.

Anyways...

I wonder if you've ever witnessed a parent chastise/'discipline' their child in a fashion that you found unfair or excessive, and you told them to stop or that they shouldn't do that?

Despite the fact that this is a noble thing, in my opinion - you know, taking a stand against child abuse instead of thinking you can steal credit and slough off work by saying "lol, fag" on occasion like it does a damn thing - I've generally rather bridged gaps between the generations and modeled a different mode of interaction... and had it work to bring change. Without even neccesarily intending such an effect.

It's kind of nice, and it kind of makes me feel I've made the world a little bit better place. Despite it just being something that just happens.

...but it works.
