So basically, the vigilantes who keep threatening rapists with death, are stopping a lot of rapes from getting reported by sweet things who don't want to report them for fear for the rapist, because they are that kindhearted.

Well, remember that about 90% of children who are raped or molested are abused by family members or close friends of the family - so yes, children will often have conflicted feelings in such circumstances.

And the assholes who threaten death on everyone are part of the problem, not the solution.
