Basically you're asking for too big of a change. Our civil liberties are being diminished day to day, just read the papers. We're being spied on, lied to, people are being thrown in jail for vague "obscenity" laws. We need to stop this now before it goes further. You think the Greens are going to have a chance at stopping this? Perhaps the libertarians don't have much of a chance right now either, but they are gaining support, and if we put hope in them I think they can make a change for the better in soon time.

I think the Greens have the potential to become a terrific third party alternative. I have never heard their stance on pedophilia or hebephilia, but they appear to be GENUINE liberals who are not beholden to positions of cowardice as are the (mostly) mainstream liberals who support the Democrats. I believe they would have the balls to oppose anti legislation. Until the Libertarians clean up their act in regards to their economic policies, I will prefer to support the Greens over them.
