The main push for an AoC itself came after an article in a newspaper where the author "proved" how easy it was to get a young girl as a prostitute, by doing it himself. Not only was the law created by Parliament, he was taken to court by the mother of the girl, and (I don't remember offhand) either fined or jailed. |
