As much as I hate the arrogant attitude that many Atheists take towards the religious, as has happened on GC (and yes I am accusing you of that though others have been much worse), I'm also unhappy that the religious has to respond to every statement contradicting religion when it is not a personal attack or one that grants an intellectual reply and argument. That's why I think you were correct this one time.

And prayer is proven to have an effect on the one doing the prayer, at least.

Of course, as I also said in this very thread, I am of the opinion that if you close your heart, God will keep it closed; so I don't have much hope for Violent Fleas, even if ALL of GC, Atheists included, prayed for her...

And yes, it's a waste of time to pray for her, when I'd rather be praying for her victims, who need it FAR more...
