Being technologically illiterate, i'm not sure how to respond with an audio of my own (although i'll figure it out one day!)
Installing the microphone is the hardest thing (software complications, etc.) but once that is done, i use Windows Sound Recorder (that is shipped with Windows, at least my version of XP) which is really straightforward. It's limited to 60 seconds but there's a way to tweak it by saving a 60 seconds blank, creating a new one, and using "insert file" (inserting the blank file) repeatedly which will increase the length by 60 seconds every time until the desired length. In my case, i had 10 minutes segment like this and i assembled them using a bigger software, but it wasn't necessary. I might as well have uploaded all 3 segments separatly without any assembling. Maybe it's too much details for you but i also give the ways to do it to others that might be curious about my setup. And also a warning about people "finding you out" with such an audio. In such cases, my motto is: "if something can go wrong, it will". I assume a calculated risk by putting audios up but i don't recommend others do the same because they might not be ready to assume the consequences of such risks. ![]() |
