That's not true at all. I've known *many* criminal lawyers during the course of my studies, and they have *all* had impeccable ethics and causes for which they were more than willing to put in pro bono work.
You're obviously incapable of understanding the concept of fair representation in the adversarial system. A lawyer is obligated to defend or prosecute even if they personally believe that their client is innocent or guilty. That's how a fair hearing of the evidence is assured. And let me tell you, a lawyer doesn't last for long if he's caught doing something unlawful in order to win a case. Financial lawyers might be completely corrupt though, especially if they are members of your family. Who knows? |
