It says a great deal about a country that has such draconian laws as this regarding sexual crimes, but when it comes to things like murder or burglary - something you'd think people would be more concerned about - no such laws exist.

The law is not intended to punish the offender and specifically prohibits using the information to harass or commit any crime against an offender.

*cough* ...

This, so far, is ALL that it has been successful in doing. Punishing offenders who have already served their time, and enabling vigilantes to harass and sometimes even kill people on what might as well be considered the public's hit list.

In other countries, people try to FIX the problem. In America, they just try to KILL it. Violent as the Romans.
