OK, let me elaborate a bit : I think of course that some/a great deal of the child erotica is of much negativity. However, i do not see it all in black and white. Black and white thinking is some of the reason why pedophiles are so severely stigmatized today. I do think it is epecially important for such a miority that we are to try and see the bigger picture. Before i elaborate further, it is important for me to state that watching or collecting pics of minors is not of the greatest importance by far to discuss. There`s soooo many other things which are of more significance. BUT, it is srill something most of us have to deal with in some way or the other, and that`s why it is important to talk about.

Some CP material sounds really really destructive for the participants, and i think there is a common concensus of that fact, and that there always should be hard punishments for cruel acts on people! The producers are the main perpetraders who give these children their hardships. It is all too easy blaming the buyers and downloaders. Why do you think they often punish them instead of the producers ? Well, it is much cheaper to get to them than to catch the photographers. If NO ONE produced this kind of material-No pics would ever excist. And, yes, i have heard the other way around too, but If for instance, children work as slaves for the coffee industry, we don`t put the buyers of coffe responsible, jail them, and blacklist and track them forever, do we? No we try to get to the people who are directly responsible. We have to be consistent. When it comes to pedophiles, the western world is not!!

It is of great significance to continue the fight against CP, but there should be an important distinction between harmful and not harmful CP, nudes and nude erotica, NN child modelling and NN erotica, most important of all the destinction between PRODUCERS AND CONSUMERS! It is VERY important that CL`s also FIGHT against the harsh punishments that people get when they watch, download or buy child porn. Why is it that tv productions, movies, games are filled with violence, and this is very well accepted in our western world, but at the moment they catch a pedophile who writes a beautiful poem of a romantic child-adult fantasy of his, he is incarcenated and receives a harsh prisonterm combined with his name on the blacklist for life, never to be around children again ? : ""They say he was a potential danger to children, since he wrote poetry."" But every adult watching violence toward children, in movies and what not, THAT IS A-OK. RIGHT??

If older CP pics and videos became legal, i think there would be nuch less of a need for new CP material. All new material could still be illegal, but the punishments would be on those who produced it. If a person posessed such new material, he would not get a prison term, and most important of all, not get blacklistet in his/her community and country for the rest of his/her life, but rather get a fine or something like that, on a few thousand dollars or so, which could be used to catch the really dangerous people-THE PRODUCERS OF HARMFUL CP OR EROTICA!!

We all want protection for young people, but the laws we have today don`t protect the young ones from the dangerous ones. The law only keeps CL`s from loving minors in a healthy romantic and mutual way. Those who want to hurt children do this regardless of being blacklistet and tracked. But those who want good for kids, and get caught with CP, and never have hurt anyone in RL, would become a greater risk to society, if he was to be blacklistet for the remainder of his/her life. This is a far too harsh and inhuman punishmaent for only buying or posessing child porn.

AND, when it comes to the supply-demand theory. It is far from flawless. Politicians and experts mean that the demand will totally dissapear if no on buys and download CP. But there will always be enough people around that watch that stuff, either as a substitution, curiousity, or to get more knowledge on the subject. As long as child-adult romantic relations remain illegal, the demand will be there, even though many of us DON`T look at CP (ME INCLUDED),but child modelling instead. However these days almost everything is CP, more and more places also define childmodelling as such, and many of us might risk both jailtime, blacklisting for life, being refused any regular contact with minors for life, and get a trackingdevice stuck to our body for life, ONLY for posessing or even only for viewing child model pics on our computers. So just thinking black and white in this area, doesn`t help any of us. Next time it just might be you or me......
