...death....it is too lenient a punishment
--------------- i'd prefer imprisonment to death - provided it's in reasonably humane conditions. [tho' ideally, personally, i'd want neither!] if incarcerated, there are plenty of books one would have time to read and interesting radio programmes to which one could listen. Hundreds of prisoners serving life sentences in Italy have called on President Giorgio Napolitano to bring back the death penalty.
