That's a big row to hoe with just one book. I think you're biting off way more than you can chew here. Perhaps it would be better if you just focused on one thing at a time, say the evolutionary/MAPIT theory. Later on you can argue your positions on religion, gov't, whatever, but I think it's a generally a bad idea to mix science with politics. As a rule (good) scientists tend to steer clear of political positions in their work.
