Of course the thing is, adult women and the elderly are vulnerable to rape too, so shouldn't they get to ride the bus free too? I bruised my knee today and am sort of hobbling, a gang of ruffians could have their way with me, FREE TICKETS FOR ALL.

It's not how it works. We need more police, more money for people who need transport, or cheaper buses, but not free transport, unless it's for everyone.
