I see your point

I try to avoid making blanket statements, and I cannot speak for every individual who has ever posted here anonymously. While statistics indicate that most child rapes/murders are not perpetrated by pedophiles, it would be naive to say it wasn't a factor.

I don't think badly of any posters here, surely that wasn't what I was insinuating. I was speaking more in a broad sense of all pedophiles in the world. And certainly some have proved that they have no self control or moral decency. I agree that they couldn't be considered girl-lovers in that respect. So you are right, that line should probably read "any", but I think the meaning can be easily inferred. Being that just because we share the same sexual orientation as a criminal, does not automatically make us criminals. Similarly, just because most convicts are black does not make every black person a crime waiting to happen. I hope no one was offended.
