good point - the average person can't differentiate the sexual orientation (a pedophile) with the acts themselves - trouble is i automatically start wondering what's going on in their heads, what they're imagining, and why...

this too is an issue i've not managed to resolve for myself, because the last thing i want to be doing is convincing a bunch of redneck date rapers that little girls are hot.
