find the settings for the individual R, G, & B settings and play with them

is the factory default bad? if so - you may have a bad monitor

just a thought

your RGB settings - while you *think* moving the R up - would increase the red - will actually *subtract* either the blue or green - i forget which - my color theory classes were a while ago . . . just play with it - if that option is on there at all
