This is very true... if there's a search warrent, then the person cannot sue.

they also cannot sue individual officers--ever, so long as what that officer did was a part of their job. (even if they burned your house down--if they did it on duty, there's not a damn thing u can do)...

about the only hope would be a lawsuit that went to prove the damage they caused was caused by them going above and beyond the search warrent (i.e if they were looking for videos, ... but shreded books or other items that clearly could not hold a video, then u might have a case)

but year, 99% possiblity any lawsuit would be immeadeatly dismissed.
