You don't operate the site, and you didn't put up any press release and you didn't use the charity's name without their consent. So you didn't do anything illegal. What are you thinking they'll charge you with??

Hopefully nothing. That's what I said to the attorney I spoke with, Tom Fiorentino, and he said the connection was made because I used the words "our charity" or somesuch in my letter to StC. In essence, they assumed I had some degree of control over the website. I think the attorney realizes I had no connection to what Lindsay put up, and now it is up to Lindsay to take up the matter. Hopefully Lindsay will just take it down; after all, the check HAS been cashed now, and so there's no point in keeping the press release up anyway, as it's no longer valid.
