i hope you are not planning on anything crazy. the fact that you are allowed to see your son(even if it is supervised)should give you some hope and something to look forward to. if you think you might die soon from your health problems,i would take some time alone to set a message for your son. you could write a long letter or do a voice recording or video. explain everything to him. tell him the truth and how it all went down. help him to understand the injustice,and make sure you tell him you love him. when finished,put it in a safe place until he is a legal adult or leave it with someone you can trust like a sympathetic friend or relative. he has a right to know what REALLY happened,because im sure others will distort the truth.
