I try to educate my friends about who pedophiles really are and how terribly they are treated but most of them refuse to even talk about it because it's 'just wrong' or 'sick' :(

These are "liberal" and "progressive" people. I don't even bother talking to social conservatives I know.

It depresses me and I'm not even attracted to children. If I were I wouldn't be able to 'switch off' (ignore) the issue whenever it is just too sad to think about :/
