What Infinity said is great stuff!!!

I would only add that there also are BDSM and other people turned on by the idea of non-consensual sex on either end. Yet the huge majority of them do not really go around and try to really rape anyone. They either only live in fantasy or find a partner with whom they can simulate and roleplay their fantasies. Sure they can end up inflicting a lot of pain and brutality - but only faking the non-consensual aspect of it.

What makes some people able to do this, and others utterly disregard anything that humanity means and rape and abuse for real, is still unknown.
