I was just about to make a "You fool! Stop feeding the flames!" post, until I realised something: The comments in that blog aren't moderated.
And now I'm wondering if it might be worth making public comments. On the one hand, the people who've been reading DDOO's blog might get a chance to see that we're not bogeymen. Most people can be reasoned with. On the other hand, it could just inflame the situation further. Now I'm just conflicted Thoughts, anyone? --Splinter PS: I'm REALLY resisting the urge to tell them that my IP address isn't trackable (in a grade-4-ish "Nyeaaah Nyeaaah Neaaah Nyeaaah!" sort of way). Though, I'm sure they'll read that here anyway. (Hi guys!) PPS: Random idea which would probably be a bad idea (considering how I feel about freedom of speech / freedom of access to info) but is fun to think about anyway: Rigging annabelleigh.net to serve up a "403 Denied" page whenever a browser with a "absolutezerounited.blogspot.com" URL referrer tag tries to access it. Like I said, sort of a vindictive/destructive thing to do, but an amusing thought all the same. |
