With the exception of those whose mental health is severely impacted by being the "wrong age," this is an elective procedure.

If the child has no independent income and his parents won't or can't pay for it, who will?

I have a problem forcing taxpapers or other people who happen to have the same health insurance company being forced to foot the bill for elective procedures.



Now, as I said, if this is truly a serious health issue, and it no doubt is in some cases, this arguement doesn't apply.
