that is the most frustratingly accurate thing i have ever read. it at once points out both the problem and the near-impossibility of addressing the problem in a progressive way. altering social paradigmes requires infiltrating those paradigmes and tearing down the lies upon which they're built... and in this particular paradigme, it is the very evaluation of what is lie and what is truth that is under scrutiny. you can't convince someone that their belief is incorrect if the guage for what is and isn't acceptable is broken in their favor from the outset.
