If anyone here had a personal connection to her then you'd be correct, out of respect for them now would be simply a time to mourn and let discussion come later. But since it's extremely unlikely anyone here has such a connection, and quite possibly none of us ever heard of her before this thread, our sadness shouldn't preclude discussion of issues surrounding her death.
An analogy: should the fact that American soldiers are killed daily in Iraq prohibit discussions about the morality of the war? At the funeral of one of those soldiers the answer is undoubtedly yes, but otherwise the answer is undoubtedly no. |
