'Blather' is a derogatory term, insinuating we are not to be taken seriously. Some of your older posts contain such barely-masked resentment, but I don't feel up to digging through them at the moment. Perhaps later. Occasionally, it is not the words themselves but the overall tone of your posts. I recall not too long ago that you called the majority of posters here "juvenile". It's very clear you have little respect for people on the other side of this issue.
Likewise, there is a tone of moral and intellectual superiority in your goading people to read the obscure psychological and sociological literature on this issue coupled with that condescending "It's elementary, Watson" aspect your suggestions. The majority of the people here are educated and intelligent enough to ascertain that the stuff contained in those scholarly journals is as biased and ignorant as the rest of society's arguments, only backed up by the research of other biased and ignorant scholars. In short, what's the point?
