Most important would seem to be the fact that the traffic pigs that kicked all this off originally stopped you when they found out you were a registered SO. I have no idea of the legal situation with regard to that being brought up in court. I remember Labour wanting to introduce previous convictions in cases not too long ago, but don’t remember anything coming of it. If that protection is still in place, then hopefully it’ll include disclosing a defendant’s status as registered sex offender.
