I'm sure you were prepared for this possibility...not that this makes it any easier for you to deal with it once it actually happens :( You know that the mere mention of the fact that you're a pedo will result in LEO's and various governmental institutions (e.g., Child Welfare Services) to think that it's simply being "responsible" to "investigate" you, and take your son away in the meantime. After all, the general public, and the bulk of all LEA's, often harbor horrid misconceptions of what pedophilia is, and the media is only too happy to sensationalize these misconceptions to sell magazines and acquire ratings.

Just hang in there, Kevin...being a member of a despised and hideously misunderstood minority group that does not yet have the understanding, let alone the support, of the mainstream liberal and other left-wing groups is very difficult. The road most seldom traveled is the most precarious road of them all, especially when those travelling the loneliest highways who feel free to openly discuss their travel are far rarer still.

The community will stand by you as you deal with this crisis...they seem to have no legal ground to take your son from you, simply because of your sexual preferences, and especially when you have broken no laws. Hopefully, your status as a highly maverick playwright will give you some measure of public sympathy, which you well deserve, my friend.
